Christchurch Office

Sarah is a specialist trust and estate planning lawyer, focused on helping people protect what matters most in a way that genuinely fits their lives.

She works across all aspects of trusts and estate planning, including trust establishment, management and advice, trust variations and wind ups, wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and more complex family or asset planning arrangements.

Whether someone is putting a plan in place for the first time or reviewing what’s been in place for years, Sarah’s approach is tailored, pragmatic, and focussed on what’s important to you.

“At the heart of it, my role is helping people plan for when life gets messy - or comes to an end - and protecting what matters most. My goal is to help you feel confident about your trust and estate planning, and create something which is clear, reassuring, and genuinely valuable for you and your family.”

Sarah values getting to know her clients, and understanding their personal goals and family dynamics. She offers a personalised, jargon-free approach to legal work, with a focus on the human side just as much as the technical detail. Sarah also enjoys working alongside accountants, financial advisers, and other important people involved in each client’s life, to simplify and consolidate the process as much as possible.

Outside of law, Sarah is completing her Masters in psychology which reflects in how she approaches her role. She is also a mother to a wonderful, relentlessly energetic toddler and small zoo of animals. Sarah enjoys being active whether lifting weights, running with her dogs or training brazilian jiu jitsu - all fuelled by a plentiful supply of caffeine!
